May 24, 2018 · I wanted to share this easy DIY alcohol ink art tutorial for those people especially, because I promise you: alcohol ink is a truly easy medium to work with – even for someone who is a complete art or crafting newbie! With only a little coaxing and the right supplies, alcohol ink travels around in beautiful ways.
Honestly, it’s the simplest trick…no laminator or fancy tools needed! Just foil and alcohol inks! After you finish applying the alcohol ink to your liking press a piece of foil over the ink (really press it in…I used a brayer to apply even pressure but your fingers work just fine, too!) and then carefully peel it off. Jun 20, 2018 · It’s a barrier between colors and for some reason it stays tacky for a while instead of drying like the flatter areas. I’ve seen the technique done using the Blending Solution also, but I prefer to mist the Alcohol Inks with isopropyl alcohol to create lots of small circles of ink. When you foil those areas it’s amazing! Sep 09, 2016 · I found if I try to overwork the inks into an image I have in my head it doesn’t come out. In a subtle way working with alcohol inks is like a therapist telling me to go ahead and give a little and let life do with me what it will. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I do know that I feel a lot better after some fun painting with alcohol inks.
